FAQ

I didn't receive the verification email.16.MAR.2020

If you registered for a new account but did not receive a verification email from us within a few minutes, it is possible that any one of the following occurred:
- The verification email was sent directly to your Spam Folder.
- You may have misspelled your email address while signing up and e-mail wasn't delivered to you.

To resolve this issue please try the following:
- Check your spam folder for any email that you may have received from prinker.net (in some cases, please check your filters or “Trash Folder” as well).
- Re-send the verification email if it is not in your spam folder.

If the issue is not resolved after all these steps, please contact us for further assistance.

I don't remember my password16.MAR.2020

If you forget your password, we can e-mail you a link that you can use to reset it. In order to do this, you must remember the e-mail address you used to register your account.
To reset your password, select the Log In option on the top of screen. In the window that pops up that says: Forgot your password?. Follow the instructions on the page.

Can I upload my images?16.MAR.2020

Of course! You can upload images by using Create function on Prinker Content Platform. You can also use Create on Prinker App to sketch your own images.

B-back users are limited to 20 uploads per month only. There is no upload limits for users with Tenderfoot or Showcase plans. For more details about image requirements please check "What images can I upload?".

What images can I upload? 16.MAR.2020

You can upload images through Prinker Content Platform. Images you upload should:
- be in .png format
- have a transparent background,
- be at least 15kb in size but not bigger than 5 Mb

Keep in mind that the height of canvas is fixed at 22 mm but you can adjust the lenght (min. 30 mm, max. 1000 mm)
TIPS! Avoid using very bright pastel colors. When it's possible use contour lines.
Use simple and flat styling resembling the custom Prinker images (sometimes less can be more)
Consider trying FILTER function if you want to use photos, rendered images or photorealistic graphic.

Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

What information should I write when uploading image? 16.MAR.2020

When uploading image it is necessary to add:
- image description
- hashtags (add hashtags to make your image searches easier)
- category
- visibility (choose whether your design will be available for all users (Public) or just for you (Private)
- age group (confirm if your content is suitable for all age groups or if it has sensible content that shouldn’t be displayed to kids)


Please be responsible when uploading your designs and selecting the age group of your content.


Note: You can upload images using Create function in Prinker App. However, for better user experience and results, we highly recommend to upload your designs at www.prinker.net

What is a difference between public and private? 16.MAR.2020

When uploading an image you can choose the visibility of your designs for other users. If you want to keep your image only for yourself, then choose PRIVATE. If you want other users to see and use your images, please choose PUBLIC.
Make sure that you have a legal authority to share publicly the image you are uploading.
Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

Where can I find images I uploaded? 16.MAR.2020

All images you uploaded can be find under 'Posted Designs' in your Account page.
To visit your account please click on your username in the top right corner.
Note: Function is supported in Prinker App.

How can I delete an image I uploaded? 16.MAR.2020

To delete an image you uploaded, go to your Account page. In 'Posted Designs' click on the image you want to delete. You will be redirected to a detailed page about your image. Click on 'Delete' to delete the image.
You can only delete images you have uploaded.
For B-Back Users: Deleting the image will not change the number of monthly uploads left.
Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

What are Lists? 16.MAR.2020

For: Tenderfoot and Showcase Subscription
List is a collection of designs. You can make lists for yourself and you can share them with other Showcase users. Lists you created on Prinker Content Platform will be visible on Prinker App.

How can I create Lists? 16.MAR.2020

For: Tenderfoot and Showcase Subscription
To create a new list you can go to menu 'LISTS' in Prinker Web and click on 'Create a List'.
Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

How do I add image to a list? 16.MAR.2020

For: Tenderfoot and Showcase Subscription
Prinker Content Platform:
Right click on + in the right lower corner of any image, go to a bottom bar and choose list to which you want to add selected images.You can add up as many designs as you want to a standard list and 20 to an offline list.
Prinker App: Go to a detailed view of image you want to add. Click on a + icon in the top right corner. Select a list to which you want to add the image.

What is an offline list? 16.MAR.2020

For:  Showcase Subscription
Offline list allows you to use Prinker when you do not have Internet connection. To use Prinker in offline mode, add designs you want to use to your Offline List. You can use max. 20 designs.
Note: Setting up the Offline List requires Internet connection. Offline mode will be active only for 72 hours.

Can I personalize list cover? 16.MAR.2020

For: Tenderfoot and Showcase Subscription
You can give your lists a personal touch by adding a cover image. In LISTS click on a list you want to add cover photo and go to Edit List.
Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

How can I delete image from a list? 16.MAR.2020

For: Tenderfoot and Showcase Subscription
In LISTS, go to the list and right-click the + in the right lower corner of image you’d like to remove. Select 'Delete from List'.

How can I delete a list? 16.MAR.2020

How can I start my subscription? 16.MAR.2020

Prinker Content Platform:
To start a subscription go to your Account page (clicking on your username in the top right corner) on Prinker Web and click on Start Subscription.

In-app payment:
To start a subscription click on "Upgrade now", in the next page select your plan and click on "Continue" (top right). Complete the transaction according to your system (iOS or Android).

If you have a Showcase subscription and are paying $9.99 a month, that means you can operate up to log into Prinker account on multiple smart devices (tablet or smartphone). In other words, you can connect and operate five Prinkers at the same time.

To change a payment method you should first cancel your current subscription and start a new one using a new payment method.

UPGRADE
Prinker Content Platform:
You may easily change your Prinker subscription anytime by visiting your Account page.If you upgrade your monthly subscription from Tenderfoot to Showcase within the first 15 days of the billing period, we may offer partial refund. For upgrades after 15 days of the billing cycle, there will be no partial or pro-rata refunds. The changes in subscription plans will take effect from a moment you make a payment.

DOWNGRADE

Prinker Content Platform:
If you want to downgrade your monthly subscription either from Showcase to Tenderfoot or Tenderfoot to Free, please first cancel your current subscription and after billing period ends please start a new subscription plan.

If you are subscribed by a third-party (e.g. App Store or Google Play), :
You will need to change your subscription through that third party and in accordance with that third party's terms and conditions.

Prinker Content Platform:
To cancel your subscription visit your Account page > Setting gear > Payment tab. You will be redirected to your Payment information page where you can cancel the payment. Your plan will be active until the end of your billing period.

If you subscribed at www.prinker.net:
To download invoices go to Prinker Content Platform, Account page > Settings gear > Payment tab > Invoices.

You will need to request invoices through that third party and in accordance with that third party's terms and conditions.

Why am I being charged more than I expected?16.MAR.2020

There are a few reasons you may be seeing a charge that was more than you expected.

Taxes - Depending on where you live, you may be charged taxes in addition to your membership price.
Fees - In some countries, card processors may charge an extra fee for cross-border transactions.
Authorizations - If you've added or changed your method of payment, you may see an authorization for roughly the same amount as the cost of the monthly Prinker membership. These requests are not charges, but may temporarily affect your available balance until your financial institution releases the funds.
Plan change - If you or someone in your team upgraded your Prinker plan, your bill will reflect the upgraded plan price.

If you are subscribed by a third-party (e.g. App Store or Google Play):
Additional fees may be incurred due to third party's terms and conditions. Please check with you billing details and consult a third-party provider.

How to use coupons?16.MAR.2020

Your Prinker membership may start with a free trial. Once you register on Prinker.net, you will receive your promotional coupon which can be redemeed when you start or change your subscription. The free trial period is offered only to users that purchased new Prinker device from Prinker Korea Inc. and its authorized resellers. Free trial for owners of new Prinker device lasts for period specified during sign-up and is intended to allow new members and certain former members to explore the service.

Where can I edit my profile?16.MAR.2020

To edit your profile information (name, nickname, profile photo etc.) go to your Account page and click on Edit Profile. You can do it on Prinker App and Prinker Content Platform.

Is there a counter?16.MAR.2020

Yes! To check how many Prinker tattoos you got visit your Account Page > Settings gear > Counter on Prinker App or Prinker Content Platform.

What does concurrent user mean?16.MAR.2020

For: Showcase Subscription
If you have a Showcase subscription and are paying $9.99 a month, that means you can log into a Prinker account on multiple smart devices (tablet or smartphone). In other words, you can connect and operate five Prinkers at the same time using a single Prinker Content Platform account. (Here, I, Rafael, suggest we make an illustration explaining how it works because it can be super confusing for users. Ask me more about it!)
To manage concurrent users go to your Account page > Settings gear > Concurrent users.

Can I use one account to login in a few devices?16.MAR.2020

If you have a Showcase subscription, that means you can use one account to log into few devices (aka concurrent users)

What is 'Parental Controls' and how do I set them on my Prinker account?16.MAR.2020

Prinker takes measures to ensure that your kids have a safe space to play with Prinker tattoos. Parental Control - which lets the user find and watch content in the Kids-friendly hub exclusively — is a great option for parents looking to limit the content their children have access to. With Parental Controls settings in place, you will be required to enter the password to access the restricted content on Prinker Content Platform and Prinker App.


To set Parental Controls setting visit your Account Page > Settings > Parental Controls.
Note: These settings restrict access to content deemed as unsuitable for kids and work across all devices.

Can I edit images after uploading them?16.MAR.2020

No, If you made a mistake or want to change something in the image you uploaded, please delete the image and upload it again to be able to edit it exactly the way you want.
Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

What are Filters and how can I use them?16.MAR.2020

Prinker Filters can turn your photos into artistic sketches or funny cartoons. Head to the Create section of Prinker Content Platform, upload the image you want to apply a filter and choose the filter you want to use. Use high-contrasted, focused on one object images with transparent or solid background for the best effect.
We are constantly expanding the number of available filters so, stay tuned for updates!

Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

How can I apply filters to images? 16.MAR.2020

When uploading an image, import the desired one clicking on "Import Image", after selecting it, click on filter and you will be able to apply a filter to your image.
Note: Function is not supported on Prinker App.

Why I cannot find Prinker App on Google Play Store / App Store ?16.MAR.2020

Prinker App works with smart devices (smartphone, tablet etc.) that have at least:
- Android Marshmallow or higher
- 2 GB of RAM memory

For iOS Users:
Prinker App for iOS supports iPhone and iPad with following specifications:
- iOS 11 or higher
- iPhone 5S or higher
- iPad 5th gen., iPad mini 2nd gen., iPad Air 1st gen., iPad Pro 1st gen., or higher


Please note that Prinker Pro is compatible only with Android devices, whereas Prinker S supports both Android and iOS smart devices.

I cannot log in.16.MAR.2020

Here are the most common issues and solutions to some common problems when signing in:
1. Caps Lock might be ‘on’. Turn off the Caps Lock and try again.
2. You might be typing the wrong password. Try once again or follow the instructions in ""Forgot password?"" to find your password.
3. Another concurrent user might have reseted your password
4. You might be trying to log on to the wrong user account.
5. You might have forgotten your password. Follow the instructions in ""Forgot password?"" to find your password.

I was suddenly signed out.16.MAR.2020

It seems that other concurrent users signed in and you were automatically logged out. To manage concurrent users go to your Account page, click on settings gear and select Concurrent users.

I cannot connect Prinker App to Prinker device.16.MAR.2020

1. Prinker device is not paired with your phone or tablet. Go to Bluetooth settings and pair Prinker device with your phone or tablet. After pairing go to Prinker App and scan for available devices.
Prinker Pro :
2. You are using iOS Prinker App. iOS Prinker App doesn't support Prinker device. You can use it only for sketching and browsing designs.
3. Prinker device cover is not completely closed. If your device display says COVER, close cover and try to connect once again.
4. Turn off and on both Prinker device and Prinker App. If it doesn't help, please connect us at cs@prinker.net

Prinker S :
1. If you are using Android device, first pair Prinker device and your smart device in Bluetooth settings of your smart device. After pairing go to Prinker App and scan for available devices.
2. Prinker device cover is not completely closed. If your device display says COVER, close cover and try to connect once again.
3. Turn off and on both Prinker device and Prinker App. If it doesn't help, please connect us at cs@prinker.net

Prinker device is getting disconnected. 16.MAR.2020

Android: Prinker device and Prinker App are connected by Bluetooth. Other nearby devices may impair Bluetooth signal and cause sudden disconnections. Go to Settings > Connections > More Connection Settings > Nearby Device Scanning. Try turning it Off so your phone or tablet is not always scanning and trying to quick connect.

I cannot access my Lists16.MAR.2020

For: Tenderfoot and Showcase Subscription

1. Your plan doesn't support such feature. Lists function is available only for Tenderfoot and Showcase plans. To use this function please upgrade your current plan.
2. You don't have the Internet access. Please check the Internet connection.

Unfortunately, due to technical differences in Bluetooth protocols, we do not expect to launch an iOS version of App for Prinker Pro. If you wish to use Prinker solution with iOS smart devices, please get Prinker S.

Prinker device is getting disconnected.16.MAR.2020

Prinker device and Prinker App are connected by Bluetooth. Other nearby devices may impair Bluetooth signal and cause sudden disconnections.
Go to Settings>Connections>More Connection Settings > Nearby Device Scanning. Turn the function off, so your phone or tablet is not scanning and trying to quick connect with other nearby devices.

How can I save up my battery?16.MAR.2020

Prinker Pro :
Prinker App and device have 3 energy modes that can help you to extend battery life when the device is not in use.
: Always awake - device never turn on energy save mode
: 5 min - device will turn on a save mode after 5 minutes of non-using
: 1 sec - device will turn on a save mode immediately after use (if you have a big traffic it may extend device preparation time)

Prinker S :
Prinker S device automatically sets the optimun battery saving mode.

How to check battery level?16.MAR.2020

1st method: Press the device information button 1 time.
2nd method: Connect your Prinker device to Prinker App. In Prinker tab on Prinker App you will find information about current battery levels. If battery levels are low, App will display low level notice.

To check ink levels connect your Prinker device to Prinker App. In Prinker tab on App you will find information about current ink level. If ink level is low, App will display low level notice.

What cartridges can I use with Prinker device?16.MAR.2020

Prinker Pro supports all types of cartridges released by Prinker Korea Inc.
If you want to apply designs in black or grayscale, use Black Ink (available as Prinker Consumable Set Black). For colorful designs, you should use 1 Left CM Ink Cartridge and 1 Right Y Ink Cartridge (available as Consumable Set Color).

How fast should I rub Prinker device?16.MAR.2020

The speed should be steady - not too fast and not to slow. Make sure not to move Prinker device back and forth while rubbing device on skin. Make sure to check out our video manuals to get better grasp how to operate your Prinker device.

Why my tattoo is smudged?16.MAR.2020

When rubbing device, make sure that only rollers touch your skin. If any other part of device (other than rollers) touches the skin, the tattoo can come out smudged.

Why my tattoo is blurred?16.MAR.2020

Tattoo will be blurred if you apply it on wet skin or not use Prinker Primer before applying tattoos.

Why tattoo color is different from image?16.MAR.2020

There may be few reasons why tattoo color is different from image in the app:
1. You inserted cartridges wrongly. Make sure that Right cartridge is on right side and Left cartridge is on left side of cartridge compartment. When using Black Ink cartridge make sure that it's inserted on the Left side of compartment.
2. The nozzles of cartridges got clogged. To clean nozzles, use clean wet tissue, after that dry it out with a clean normal tissue and try applying your tattoo again. If the problem persists,please contact us at cs@prinker.net.

How should I store cartridges?16.MAR.2020

Prinker ink is made from cosmetic ingredients. That's why, it is more prone to drying than traditional ink-jet printer cartridges.
If not used for more than 3 days, we recommend to remove cartridges from device. Remember to protect nozzles of your cartridges by putting on the provided orange cap back and storing cartridges in the zip bag you got with your cartridges.

Why images I applied are only partially visible? (e.g. specific color not visible, white lines etc.)?16.MAR.2020

It seems that the nozzles of your cartridges got clogged with dried ink. Please turn off and remove cartridges from Prinker device. Wipe gently the nozzles with wet tissue, dry it out with a clean normal tissue and try applying your tattoo again. If the problem persists, press cartridges over a wet tissue for about 20 seconds. Try until you see solid ink lines with respective ink colors.

Why there is a yellow shade/line behind some of my designs?16.MAR.2020

[Color Ink Cartridges] Prinker uses color subtraction principles to print in full color. In other words, colors are made by mixing basic colors such as red, blue and yellow. If you see a yellow shadow behind some of your designs, it means that you have to practice a little bit more on how to steadily apply tattoos using proper speed.

How to use Skin Primer?16.MAR.2020

Primer helps to set ink on skin evenly. Spray Prinker Skin Primer on place where you want to get tattoo. Spray from about 30 cm distance. Wait until Skin Primer dries to rub device. For a long-lasting effect, wait until ink dries and spray Primer again.

Yes, you can connect your Prinker S with a smart device using Android OS or iOS.
